Kristin Bjella How
Associate General Counsel
Kristin joined American Farmland Trust in April of 2024. Her primary responsibilities include legal support for land protection projects and the organization as a whole. Kristin was born and raised in North Dakota. She earned her undergraduate degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She spent a year in AmeriCorps service prior to attending law school at the University of Iowa. Kristin brings experience in land conservation, real estate law, contracts, land use, and local governments.
