Lori Sallet

Lori manages press strategy, messaging, and outreach for AFT. Before joining AFT, she served as COO of South Mountain Creamery, a local dairy, and home delivery food service, where she oversaw marketing, sales, media relations, customer service, and agritourism. She started her long career in strategic communications at MCI, a $50 billion global marketing sensation, and founded Project Management LLC, a small communications consulting company and worked with corporate clients at National Media Inc., an issue advocacy firm. Lori farmed fulltime for a decade on her 85-acre certified-organic vegetable and grain farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  She sold her fresh vegetables at farmers markets across D.C., Maryland, and Delaware. She is now a non-operating landowner, partnered with her farming mentor to grow organic grain that is sold to Perdue for its Coleman Organic chicken line. Lori earned a Bachelor of Science in both business administration and marketing from the University of Southern California.
