Nicole Haug

Nicole joined the Institutional Partnerships Team at American Farmland Trust as a Coordinator in July 2023. After graduating from Davidson College she pursued a master's degree in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Michigan. Her public health interests in zoonotic diseases and One Health sprouted from ecology-focused volunteer experiences with veterinarians, at zoos, and with the Audubon Society. Prior to joining AFT, Nicole worked for 6 years in post-market drug and device safety surveillance with the FDA. Fulfilling a dream of working on organic farms across the U.S for a year brought Nicole back to her conservation roots, and she is looking forward to applying her skills to the agricultural realm.
